ABOUT

THE STORY SO FAR

The Okanagan Derby Dolls are an all female flat track roller derby team based out of Kelowna, British Columbia. The team originally formed as it’s own league in August of 2010 but as of May 2011 the team signed as members of the OSRDA . The Dolls are a group of fierce, strong and energetic women who love to skate. They are dedicated to the sport of roller derby and demonstrate the commitment, skill, athleticism and practice required to compete. The goal of the Okanagan Derby Dolls is not only to promote roller derby in the Okanagan but also to encourage and celebrate women in sport. The Dolls practice/compete year round and can be found training at the Kelowna Sunplex two nights a week. They are currently welcoming new recruits. As part of the OSRDA the Okanagan Derby Dolls are also a member of the Canadian Women’s Roller Derby Association (www.cwrda.ca).
